SQUARE DANCE SUNDAY

It's not your Grandma's square dancing anymore! On Sunday, August 18,Salem members, Bill and Joy Cogburn, who are members of Friendship Squares and the Mason-Dixon Square Dance Federation, will be joined by some of their friends from those groups, to teach us the basics and prepare us for "Dancing with the Stars"! Dale Hodge, a nationally ranked caller, will be here to lead us. This is going to be a really fun day! There's no need for any dance experience…just a desire to have fun and fellowship.  You can even just sit, listen, hum along, laugh and enjoy.

 All ages are invited and by all means - invite your friends. A lunch of "country fare" will be served at noonf ollowed by music, dance and fun at 1 pm.  If you plan to have lunch, please sign up with Lauren Simpson or Judy Jones.  We need an idea of how many to prepare for. There will be a free will offering for the  food. So, let's bring that Salem spirit, kick up our heels and have fun!!!

Fall Worship Hours 

Starting Sunday, September 8, worship times will change back to 8 am & 10: 45 am and Sunday School for all ages begins at 9:30 am

Wednesday Morning Bible Study

The Wednesday monring Bible Study will being on Wednesday, September 11 at 10 am in the Salem House Conference Room. (right next to church).

Men's Saturday Morning Breakfast & Bible Study

Beginning Saturday, September, 7 the men start their weekly Bible study in the Fellowship Hall.  The journey this year begins with the life of King David.
