The Salem book club started in 1999 with a group of avid readers. Over the years since then, the group has enjoyed a steady number of members (and a few charter members still attend regularly!).

 

Every month, the group gathers for discussion and fellowship. To date, the book club has read over 200 books! Book selections cover everything from mystery, thrillers, fiction, non-fiction, biographies, humor, travel, animal...you name the genre and the group has read something in that category.

While reading and discussion may be the main goal of the group's activity - connecting in friendship, fellowship, support, and laughter is an important part of book club as well. 

While COVID has made us change how we meet, it has not stopped us from meeting! We are still actively meeting via Zoom to continue our discussions and fellowship.
